International Game Technology Promotes V.P.

5 January 2009

International Game Technology appointed Richard J. Schneider as its executive vice president of product strategy on Monday.

Thomas J. Matthews, the company’s chief executive, said Mr. Schneider’s new role would be focused on integrating International Game Technology systems and games into one organization in a “need to converge these two once separate worlds into one unified product offering.”

Previously, Mr. Schneider was the company’s executive vice president of server-based gaming since 2006 and president of IGT Systems since 2004. He joined International Game Technology in 2003, when the Reno-based gaming manufacturer acquired Acres Gaming Inc.
