Internet Gaming Summit

A summit on Internet Nambling will be held on May 7 and 8 1998 in Sydney Australia. Organised by AIC (Australian Institute for Criminology) the conference is titled, Gambling Technology and Society, Regulatory Issues for the 21st Century, the conference will be Co-hosted by the AIGR (Australian Institute for Gambling Research).

The scheduled presentations include : Australian responses to the internet, electronic commerce and interactive gambling, Senator Admanda Vanstone, Minister for Justice Gambling and Australian society expanding markets and issues for policymakers, Professor Jan McMillen; AIGR, The Market: opportunities and threats Gaming - Mal Weston, Coms21 Sports Betting and Racing - Terry Lillas, Centrebet Lotteries - WA Lotteries Commission Registered Clubs - Terry Condon, Club Managers Assoc.
