Ionoco, a graphics and control system provider for broadcast, lottery and gaming, announced on Thursday the addition of two senior appointments to its team.
Will Arrowsmith has been appointed as developer and Rachel Charlton as finance manager. According to the company, these new additions have made the company double in size since its debut in April 2008.
Mr. Arrowsmith has worked in software development with Microsoft Corporation and Torex Retail US Inc. Ms. Charlton has spent eight years in the finance sector and previously was a finance manager in a United Kingdom legal practice.
The company said the team’s expansion enhances its ability to meet the requirements of production companies in rolling out major formats worldwide. Ionoco plans to expand operations to Los Angeles early next year, it said.
“Production companies are approaching us to develop technologies to support new and sometimes increasingly complex formats, and it’s a really exciting place to be,” said Simon Ingram, Ionoco’s chief executive and co-founder, in a prepared statement. “The additions of Will and Rachel to the team further enhance our ability to offer the professional and flexible service that our clients require.”
