Ionoco, a graphics and control systems provider for global broadcast, lottery and gaming markets, has announced a collaboration with Content Guru to solve issues with viewer participation T.V. and allow producers to develop new television formats.
Ionostorm, an end-to-end mass viewer participation solution, combines Content Guru’s platform with Ionoco’s graphic technology for game shows and quizzes, competitions, call T.V., voting and real-time opinion polling.
According to a prepared statement, Ionostorm controls and manages many aspects of the viewer participation process -- from point of entry to on-screen display and verification -- and enables real-time, multi-channel interaction including voice, S.M.S., Web and mobile.
