Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. has appointed Roger Deaton, who has worked for the company since 1992, as senior vice president of the Lady Luck brand, and Arnold Block, a former general manager at Harrah's Entertainment Inc., as senior vice president of the company's Isle brand, the company announced on Monday.
The St. Louis company said these appointments have been made in a plan to create a two-brand strategy for unique gaming experiences at both Lady Luck and Isle of Capri. Earlier in December, Isle of Capri reported a net loss of $13.5 million in its second quarter, which was an improvement compared to last year’s second-quarter net loss of $24.6 million.
Both will be reporting to Virginia McDowell, Harrah's chief operating officer, who said in a prepared statement that under the new leadership, the casino brands “will offer completely focused, clearly defined entertainment experiences while sharing a common goal -- an experience that is consistently clean, safe, friendly and fun.”
