Outside of the host nation, the United Kingdom, Italy has the most exhibitors this year, 13 to be exact, set to attend The Amusement Trades Exhibition, or ATEI.

Clarion Gaming, the event’s organizer, said that this number was closely followed by Poland with 11 exhibitors and Spain with nine. Including the United Kingdom, a total of 21 nations will represented by exhibitors on the show floor Jan. 27-29 at Earls Court in London.

As far as first-time exhibitors go, Clarion said at least 15 companies from 12 different countries will make their ATEI debut, including Cashflow Entertainment, US Industrial Corporation, Advanced Technology Research, Giocos Expendedoras and Merlin Technologies.

Clarion appointed Jon Sander, long-standing honorary secretary of Northern Ireland Amusement Caterers Trade Association, and Witold Malinowski, founder of Poland’s SurExpo, as International Attachés for ATEI. According to the company, the post of International Attaché is a prestigious, honorary role in which individuals are invited to advise on issues relevant to their jurisdiction and help to ensure that the ATEI experience remains as relevant and interesting as possible to visitors from their territory.

“It gives me a great deal of pleasure to accept this post, and I sincerely hope I can represent and communicate accurately the sentiments of Northern Ireland with regards to ATEI and the London experience as a whole,” Mr. Sander said in a prepared statement commented. “Also, I think Clarion Gaming should be commended for launching a proactive initiative which aims to stay in touch with the thoughts, feelings and opinions of different jurisdictions around the world.”
