Jadestone Group A.B., an online games developer in Sweden, will launch a dice-games network called "DiceArena" this fall.
The first games on offer will be Dice Hold'em and Shoot the Moons, with backgammon and Liar's Dice to follow.
The business model is structured around in-game rake and tournament fees -- more specific financial information was not provided.
"The whole experience is designed to be about fun and excitement rather than hard competition," Linus Dalin, the company's product director, said in a prepared statement. "We're really trying to do something new with this product."
