Interactive media firm NetPlay TV has purchased Channel 848 on the Sky network to launch its new "Live BlackJack" product, reports eGamingReview.
The £475,000 purchase was made with shares at 20p each.
"Blackjack is the most popular game in traditional casinos and as such it was a natural progression for us to launch a “live” TV version of this popular game," Martin Higginson, chief executive of NetPlay, told eGaming Review. "Having a dedicated channel next door to our successful “Live Roulette” channel on Sky 847 makes perfect sense, allowing our customers to easily flick between channels depending on which game they want to play."
