The Interactive Gaming Council (ICG) announced this week its participation in the "Log On For Choice" initiative, sponsored by the Internet Consumers Choice Coalition. The campaign allows pro-freedom individuals to contact their members of Congress via the World Wide Web to weigh in against Senator Jon Kyl's "Internet Gambling Prohibition Act" and other government regulation of the Internet.
To participate, go to http://www.capweb.net/iccc. From there you can send a prewritten letter to your members of Congress or compose your own. This will urge them to preserve the freedom of the Internet, and your rights to gamble online by voting against the Kyl Bill. The messages are faxed up to Capitol Hill from the ICG's server at no cost to the consumer--making it less likely that the member's office will ignore them.
Take the time to weigh in and to urge your friends and business associates to do the same.
More important, you can take the "Log On for Choice" logo and post it prominently on your web page, with a link to www.capweb.net/iccc.
