Macau’s gaming tax income fell 5.3 percent year-over-year to $370 million, or 2.92 billion pacatas, in January, reports the Xinhua News Agency.
The Macao Post Daily said Macau’s Special Administrative Region revenues for the month were at $449 million, or 3.55 billion patacas, which was down year-over-year by 10 percent.
According to the newspaper, the gaming tax made up 82 percent of the government’s income.
