Macau’s Statistics and Census Service said on Monday that third-quarter expenditure-based gross domestic product grew by 11.3 percent, though gross gaming revenue growth slowed.
The state-run Xinhua News Agency said that the local gaming industry had year-on-year growth of 27.6 percent, which was almost half of how much it grew in the first two quarters of the year. Visitor spending was only up by 4.2 percent.
