Francis Tam Pak Yuen, Macau's secretary for economy and finance on Friday said Macau's gaming industry is entering a period of consolidation at a time when the region's government is assessing the growth and size of the sector.
He said the number of gaming tables in Macau will not change at least until everything has been assessed and that the rights of local workers will be a priority of the government.
