The Macanese government said today that the special administrative region's visitor arrivals rose 8 percent in October to 2.6 million against the previous-year period.
The visitor growth rate has been hurt by Beijing's introduction of new visa rules that, among other things, limit residents of Guangdong -- China's richest province -- to one visit every three months.
