Gross gaming revenue in Macau reached $3.76 billion during the first quarter of 2008, a 62 percent improvement over the same period last year.
The quarterly revenue take is roughly equal to the revenue take in all of 2003.
At the end of the quarter Macau had 29 casinos with 4,311 tables and 13,522 slot machines.
