BETandWIN Presents For Investors; Seeks TV Ads

On Wednesday, October 6th, BETandWIN.com Interactive Entertainment AG (BWIN.VI)'s co-CEOs Manfred Bodner and Norbert Teufelberger will make a presentation to institutional investors at an Erste Bank conference in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, Austria. BETandWIN is currently in early stages of negotiations to advertise across Europe via satellite broadcaster Eurosport.

CES Listing

CES Software Plc (CES.AIM) has received a final receipt from the securities regulatory authorities in each of the Canadian provinces for a prospectus qualifying 977,700 ordinary shares to be issued to the public at $3.22 per share. The company has applied to trade the shares on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. CES has also received conditional approval for the listing of its ordinary shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

YooMedia Plc (YOO.L) has posted its financial results for the first half-year of 2004, boasting among other things a tenfold increase in revenue to £4 million. The company's recent acquisitions have played a large part in its success. Since the beginning of 2004 YooMedia has acquired Go Play TV, One Saturday Plc, Jiles Limited, Whoosh Group Ltd. and Fancy a Flutter. Of the £4 million in revenue received in the interim, £3.6 million came from acquired companies. The company recorded just £368,000 in revenue over the same interim last year. Gross loss for the period was £683,000 and operating loss was £3.9 million.

    Calgary-based I-gaming software provider Chartwell Technology Inc. (CWH.TSX)'s results for the third quarter of fiscal 2004 ended July 31st, show an 83 percent growth in revenue to $3.6 million from $2 million during the same period last year. The company also reported net earnings of $1.2 million or $.07 per diluted share as compared to last year's $213,000 or $.02 per diluted share.

    Chartwell was this week ranked 6th on the Deloitte Canadian Technology Fast 50, a list of Canada's fastest growing technology companies based on percentage revenue growth over a five-year period. In the last five years Chartwell's revenue has grown from under $500,000 to over $7 million. 2003 was the company's first full profitable year and it posted earning of $.11 per share. The company has continued to rise in 2004 with earnings of $.16 per share on revenues of $8.7 million over the first nine months.
