CKCO, a television station in Kitchen, Ontario (about 60 miles west of Toronto) will air a three-part series on Internet gambling this week.
The series, to run June 1-3 on the station's 6 o'clock news, will cover the popularity and success of the industry; perceptions of legality; and problem gambling. It will include interviews with players, promoters, industry execs and authorities.
CKCO, local channel 13/cable channel 12, is part of the Toronto-based CTV network. Its signal can be picked up by residents of Southern Ontario, Upstate New York and northern Michigan.
