When asked whether his recent visit to Washington, D.C., was at all related to the letters to Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey, Clive Hawkswood, chief executive of the Remote Gambling Association, told IGamingNews in an e-mail:
"I wouldn't say there is a causal effect between the Sessions Bill and the letters to the AG, but they are all measures we've been supportive of and which were discussed with the relevant parties both before and during the recent visit to Washington."
