It's All Fine -- Following Tuesday's news of Victor Chandler's run-in with the French authorities, Stuart Skinner of Chandler's U.K.-based PR firm Phil Hall Associates told IGN that four members of Chandler's entourage were indeed detained, questioned and subsequently released. "It's all over, it's all fine, and as far as I know, [Chandler] is out of police custody and nothing has been done in terms of pressing charges," Skinner said.
Migrated -- Following the migration of its casino operations to the Playtech platform in 2005, Bet365 said this morning that it has done the same with its poker operations, having migrated to the AIM-listed provider's iPoker platform. "Playtech's expertise in penetrating global market places was of particular interest to us," said Bet365 Managing Director Steve Ibberson.
Inked -- Ireland-based betting exchange Betdaq has announced a strategic partnership agreement with 24hPoker, which sees Betdaq join the 24hPoker network and be given the opportunity to acquire 125 million B shares in 24hPoker Holding AB. Via the agreement, Pinnacle will also be joining the poker network. "Our agreement with Betdaq gives us strategic and financial advantages that benefit the company and its shareholders," said 24hPoker Chief Executive Peter Åström.
