BRAND OR BUST WagerWorks, the online subsidiary of International Game Technology, announced today that 888 Holdings will leverage the software solutions provider’s titles through the GTS software platform.

In the agreement, 888 will include some of WagerWorks’ brands in its portfolio. The first four games to be introduced are "Cleopatra," "Monopoly with Pass 'Go' Bonus," "Cluedo" and "Wheel of Fortune Hollywood Edition," and will be available on 888’s casino, bingo, games and instant flash casino.

“The agreement with WagerWorks helps us to strengthen our brand content offering with world renowned brands,” said Gabi Campos, senior vice president and managing director for 888, in a prepared statement.

“These will prove especially attractive to our new bingo customers and customers of our land-based casinos B2B partners -- many of whom will be familiar with the games from playing them offline,” Mr. Campos continued. “It is an important step in helping us to further facilitate the movement from offline to online gaming, as 888 becomes a premium provider of bespoke technology, marketing and analysis to land-based casinos.”

E-WALLET OF THE EAST Devilfish Gaming, a United Kingdom-based online poker operator, has announced it will integrate Neteller’s 1Pay e-wallet system onto its Web site.

The e-wallet is said to make transactions in the Asian market more convenient, specifically those in the Chinese and Taiwanese markets.

“The Neteller 1Pay e-wallet account is specifically designed to target the Asian market,” said Paul J. Barnes, chief executive of Devilfish Gaming. “By having (it) on www.devilfishpoker.com, we can expand further into Asia, and it indicates our intention to target this growing gaming market and developing the Devilfish brand internationally."

POKER CHAMP Betdaqpoker.com announced today that Troy Pendergast, a 25-year-old man from Dublin, picked up 100,000 euros in the grand final of the Betdaq Bonanza on Sunday.

Held at Dublin’s Sporting Emporium Casino, the poker game featured six players who made it to the finals after three offline qualifiers and an online version of the tournament, which kicked off in September.

“It was an honor for Betdaq to host this weekend of festivities, especially the Bonanza final table, in the very professional setting of the Sporting Emporium,” said Ross Glacken, Betdaq’s poker manager, in a prepared statement. “The atmosphere was electric, and we’d like to thank all of the staff and players for making the weekend a huge success.”
