On Wednesday,
IASbet.com announced a two-year sponsorship agreement to be the exclusive online betting partner for
Australian Grand Prix Corporation.
“The deal is a milestone for the company and signifies our commitment and strategy to support Australian sport and racing through the establishment of niche alliances,” said Mark Read, IASbet’s managing director, in a company statement.
The sponsorship, which began on Feb. 25, incorporates advertising and promotional rights for online betting during the 2009 and 2010 Formula One Australian Grand Prix and the 2009 and 2010 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, the International All Sports Ltd.-owned company said.

Expanding its Macau coverage, PokerStars will open the doors on Thursday to its new poker room at Macau’s Grand Lisboa.
With 22 tables, the poker room will be the largest in continental Asia, according to the online poker site. It will also be the host of weekly poker tournaments, the premiere Macau Poker Cup series every other month and the annual Asia Pacific Poker Tour Macau Poker Festival.
