TRIVIAL TIME
Now players can test their knowledge along with their luck with Probability's latest Hasbro-branded game -- "Trivial Pursuit Slots."
"This new game really breaks new ground and gives players something they’ve never had before -- a quiz game inside a slot machine that doubles their chances in the bonus round," said Charles P. Cohen, the mobile specialist's chief executive, in a prepared statement.
The five-reel multi-line game includes a bonus feature where players are asked a Trivial Pursuit Genius Edition question, which if answered correctly will boost the players' chances of winning up to £1,550, Probability said.
"We have worked closely with the Trivial Pursuit board game designers to create this feature and ensure that it gives players a true 'Triv' experience whilst remaining a compelling and enjoyable slot game," Mr. Cohen added.
BODOG88 LAUNCHED
Bodog Entertainment Group unveiled its Asian-facing site this week, following the March 2009 agreement between the operator and Haydock Sports Ltd., the Manila-based online gambling operator.
According to Bodog, Haydock Sports officially launched bodog88.com on May 18 with high expectations for the brand.
"The Bodog brand is known worldwide for entertainment and a truly unique online experience -- the Bodog culture is very different from anything currently offered in the Asian market today, so we feel we have a competitive advantage as a lifestyle brand," said Ian Dunning, Haydock's managing director, in a statement.
The site offers a live dealer casino from Entertasia Technology along with a sportsbook.
On Friday, Bodog closed the week out with more positive news: Bodog.com is nearing its three millionth sign-up.
