BRAND FANS WagerWorks, a subsidiary of International Game Technology, is to provide I-gaming operator PartyGaming with branded slots.

Brands that were featured in the deal include “Cleopatra,” “Monopoly with Pass ‘Go’ Bonus,” “Cluedo” and “Wheel of Fortune Hollywood Edition.” PartyGaming announced today that these titles will be available on PartyCasino.com, PartyBingo.com as well as a number of PartyGaming’s other gaming sites in upcoming months.

“We are pleased to have been selected to provide a number of our top performing games to help PartyGaming deliver its long term strategy,” said Paul Mathews, president of WagerWorks, in a prepared statement.

A DEAL MADE Phantom Fiber Corporation, a developer of wireless platform software, announced yesterday it has signed a multi-year contract with Scientific Games Racing L.L.C., a gaming markets supplier of technology-based products, systems and services.

The deal was made in order for Phantom Fiber to extend its usage of Scientific Games Racing’s Trackplay, a white-label wagering system that supports betting online and associated technologies. It gives bettors the ability to watch races, place wagers, manage accounts and view historical transactions. Additionally, it gives access to live streaming video of events and previous races.

“Being chosen by such a recognized organization truly validates our mobile framework,” said Jeff Halloran, chairman and chief executive of Phantom Fiber, in a prepared statement.

APPROVED Net Entertainment, the Stockholm-listed business-to-business provider, has been given eCOGRA accreditation.

eCOGRA, a nonprofit that sets online casino and poker standards, audited the Swedish company and found it compliant with eCOGRA’s best-practice standards applicable to software suppliers.

“Meeting high standards in a tough inspection regime like this says much for the commitment and dedication of all involved, and is an important milestone in operational excellence and player protection for the company,” said Johan Ohman, Net Entertainment’s chief executive, in a prepared statement.

NY RACING “IN TROUBLE” According to the Thoroughbred Times, a state senator said the proliferation of Native American casinos and Internet gambling has significantly impacted racing profits in New York.

William Larkin, chairman of the Senate Racing, Gaming and Wagering Committee, added that the state needs to promote a racino at Aqueduct race track, equine and jockey safety and cooperation between racetracks and off-track betting.

“New York’s racing industry is in trouble,” Mr. Larkin was quoted as saying.
