NETWORK BOOST
Jadestone Networks, the Nordic online operator, said it saw record growth in its first quarter.
According to the owner and operator of DiceArena and GamArena, the total number of unique cash players for both its Arena networks in March increased by 116 percent, year over year.
"We’re very pleased indeed with the development so far," said Tobias Nissen, Jadestone's business development director, in a company statement. "We’re seeing strong growth overall with good numbers across the board."
Although the group said that this boost can be attributed to organic growth, it said its partnerships with I-gaming operators also played a role.
Jadestone's partners for DiceArena, which launched last December, include Bwin Interactive Entertainment A.G. , Gala Coral Group and Ålands Penningautomatforening, or PAF. The total number of sites featuring Jadestone's games now stands at nine, the company said.
BANNER ADS
Both BetonBet, an online betting exchange, and NoiQ, an I-gaming operator, have signed on to use a banner system powered by BetBrain Ltd., a United Kingdom company.
AdFactory88, a banner and ad-server system developed by BetBrain, is already used by bookmakers such as Centrebet and Danbook.
Betonbet will use the banner system to attract and retain customers on its site, said Magnus Wennlöf, the company's sports book manager, in a statement.
Additionally, Karl Buhagiar, an operations manager at NoiQ, said that his group will use AdFactory88 for both internal and external online marketing strategies.
EXPANDING
For the first time in more than a year, Youbet.com Inc. said it will now be carrying the Calder Race Course signal starting on Friday.
Located in Florida, the Calder Race Course completes the state's thoroughbred racing circuit with races running from April 24 through Jan. 2.
"The agreement between us and Churchill Downs is another step in the continued cooperation between our companies," said Michael Brodsky, Youbet.com's chief executive, in a statement.
"We are looking forward to providing additional content from Churchill Downs and others over the near and long-term," he added.
Last week the advance deposit wagering company nominated David Goldberg, its chief operating officer, to join its board of directors, while J.B. Pritzker, a current board member since 2007, will not be standing for re-election.
"With the turnaround in the company’s operations and financial performance essentially completed in 2008, and a significant amount of new content recently added to Youbet Express, I believe that the company is in its strongest position in several years," Mr. Goldberg said.
