EXPANDING
On Thursday Youbet.com Inc. said it has widened its coverage for customers to watch and wager from South Africa, Sweden and Puerto Rico through three separate agreements.
The first agreement with Phumelela Enterprises allows the betting company to offer wagering and live-streaming video from 16 racetracks in South Africa through Youbet Express and also includes distribution rights for 30 racetracks in the United Kingdom, according to Youbet.
Through a second agreement with ATG Sweden, Youbet said it will begin importing harness racing from Swedish racetracks on a twice per week basis.
Additionally, California company signed a third agreement with Camarero Race Track in Puerto Rico.
“These new content agreements will make the Youbet.com platform even more convenient for players who are not able to take advantage of wagering online during peak U.S. racing hours,” said Michael Brodsky, Youbet.com’s chief executive, in a company statement.
