REPORTING
In its fourth-quarter earning update,
Probability, the mobile gambling specialist, saw a 60 percent year-over-year revenue spike to more than £5 million for 2008-9.
For the fourth quarter, the company reported net gaming revenues of £1.1 million.
"In 2009, we had anticipated that demand in January and February would be weak compared to the previous quarter, as was the case in previous years, but compounded by the recession," said Charles P. Cohen, the group's chief executive, in the trading update.
"The return to growth and profitability in March 2009 shows that we were right to maintain our disciplined approach to marketing and to continue to invest in new products to attract and retain customers in this tough environment," he added.
Additionally, the company has entered into a joint development and licensing agreement with NextGen Gaming, a designer of five-reel video slots games.
