Rami Lerner, a former executive senior officer for Israel’s prime minister, has replaced
John Davy as a non-executive director,
PartyGaming announced on Wednesday.
In mid February, PartyGaming said that John Davy, who was appointed as a non-executive director for the company in December 2007, would be resigning for “personal reasons.”
According to PartyGaming, Mr. Lerner, 54, worked in Israel’s prime minister’s office from 1981 to 2003. He also served has the chief executive of the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel, and currently is the managing director of his family’s investment fund, the Gibraltar-based company said.

PokerStars, the online poker site, said that it has registered its 20 millionth player.
The company said on Wednesday that user “piposko” from Slovakia was the lucky 20 millionth and was awarded a $215 tournament ticket to celebrate.
Going along with the record-breaking theme, PokerStars mentioned that it dealt its 25th billionth hand this month as well.
