NetPlay TV will now be producing the "Challenge Jackpot" brand in a deal with
Virgin Media Television.
Announced on Tuesday, the deal allows Virgin Media Television to gain a 9.9 percent option stake in NetPlay TV. In exchange, NetPlay TV will run the "Challenge Jackpot" Web site and television channel until June 30, 2013.
NetPlay TV said it has agreed to acquire the business assets of Two Way Gaming Ltd., the former providers of gaming services for "Challenge Jackpot." According to NetPlay TV, the acquisition includes the Web site’s 16,000 registered players, their account balances and equipment to run the business.
Additionally, NetPlay TV said that a number of the Two Way Gaming staff will join the new venture, including its current managing director, Guy Templer.

"I believe that L&G has pulled off a significant coup by signing a sponsorship deal with Palermo," said Richard Creed, the company’s chief executive, in a prepared statement.
Team T-shirts and banners will carry the logo of the London-based online and land-based betting provider’s Italian subsidiary, Betshop Italia.

After losing its ground in Louisiana last week, Gtech Corporation announced a 5-year contract with the Arizona Lottery on Tuesday.
Gtech, which has worked with the state lottery since 1984, will provide it with new instant-ticket products management and a distribution system starting on Jan. 10, 2010.
The subsidiary of Lottomatica S.p.A. said it expects revenues of approximately $10 million during the contract term.
