Word is Bond -- Fickle I-gaming shares were at it again today on the LSE, after William Hill and Ladbrokes -- last month, the recipients of a Morgan Stanley downgrade -- were bolstered by the brokerage's latest, more positive recommendation. Current share prices "don't reflect the defensive quality of the industry, the growth potential from U.K. deregulation and international expansion, high dividend yields and continued support from ongoing buyback programs," read a note from the brokerage to clients. Ladbrokes, which was up as much as 6.75p, finished even for the day at 318.00, while William Hill finished up 8.50p at 523.50.
Metro Joins the Industry -- U.K. newspaper Metro in conjunction with St. Minver has launched a suite of online gaming products via its Web site, metro.co.uk. The site will offer online casino, bingo and poker games.
Marvelicious Logic -- In its latest nod to the famed Marvel Universe, CryptoLogic has launched two new slots featuring Spider-Man and Fantastic Four.
TV2 Gets Skill -- Swedish skill games group Jadestone has agreed to supply its range of gaming products to Danish television network TV2. "With all the marketing channels available, I think our games will attract a whole new audience to TV2," said Tobias Nissen, biz development director for Jadestone.
Stock Watch -- On the LSE, PartyGaming was up 0.50p to 29.25, Sportingbet was up 3.50p to 55.50 and Probability was up 1p to 42.50.
