New Stuff -- Casino-On-Net is now taking payments via paybox, a payment service that allows players to transfer money out of their bank accounts via their mobile phones. David Rose, a spokesman for Casino-On-Net, said the site's users will be able to simply type their mobile phone number into the online checkout. "We believe that mobile payments using paybox provide our customers with a quick, easy and very safe way to play," Rose said. The service is also used at Ladbrokes.com, Sportingbet.com and Eurobet.co.uk.

UK Bit -- Gaming Corp. recently launched an online casino that will operate off of the company's Casino.co.uk gaming portal. The U.K.-based company's new gaming service is called www.play.casino.co.uk. The portal generates about 200,000 page impressions per month.

Quote Worthy -- "Massachusetts residents are spending a significant amount of money to gamble on the Internet to gamble out of state. I think that the argument about whether or not we should have gambling is somewhat passe. We have it... We're already paying the social costs. Shouldn't we maximize the benefit?"
