DICEY SITUATION Jadestone Networks, owner of DiceArena, announced on Tuesday that Bwin Interactive Entertainment A.G. will become its partner early next year.
Previously, Jadestone announced that Gala Coral and Ålands Penningautomatforening, or PAF, were also partners of DiceArena, a two-year project that recently launched.
Currently, the DiceArena Network features two new dice games: “Dice Hold’em,” inspired by the popular poker game, and “Shoot the Moons,” which is described by the company as an alternative for more casual players. In early 2009, two perennial dice games will be added, which include “Liar’s Dice” and “Backgammon.”
“There’s no doubt that Bwin has played a major role in getting Jadestone to where it is today,” said Tobias Nissen, business development director at Jadestone, in a prepared statement. “They’ve been a solid and competent partner in the true sense of the word.”

“We are excited to be launching ‘MySlot’ to the market and feel incredibly proud to once again be industry leading with innovative gaming,” said Roger Raatgever, chief executive of Micrograming, in a prepared statement. “’MySlot’ will offer players a completely different gaming experience, which has never before been available -- allowing them to sit in the designer driving seat and be the creator of their own slot destiny.”
NEW C.O.O. Lee Fenton, a former executive at Fox Mobile, has joined Gamesys Group as chief operating officer, the company announced on Tuesday.
Mr. Fenton, who left his job this summer as chief executive and chief operating officer at Fox and as managing director of Jamba, a News Corp-owned mobile content provider, has been brought on to drive revenue growth and product development across the Jackpotjoy platform, according to a prepared statement from Gamesys.
Prior to working for Fox, Fenton was global director of consumer products and content at Vodafone Group, a mobile telecommunications company.
“Lee is considered a leading light in the digital industry, where he has built up a huge level of experience in developing truly engaging consumer experiences and content,” said Noel Hayden, Gamesys’ chief executive, in the statement. “Harnessing this experience will be a key part of our strategy to take Gamesys onto even greater success.”
