You Tell 'Em, FSA -- After news reports surfaced this week alleging new payment processor YouTeller had made "false claims" regarding its certification by the U.K. Financial Services Authority (FSA), an FSA spokesperson today cleared up the confusion. The spokesperson told eGaming Review that the FSA had indeed issued a small e-money certificate to YouTeller, the registered trademark of Seed Capital Limited. The news source went on to say that YouTeller had expressed interest in entering the U.S. market, quoting company director Florian Schweitzer as saying, "We have the ability to do that, but we have to wait until we receive the advice of our legal advisors."

Appointed -- Online sports betting and gaming group Leisure & Gaming said it has appointed Michael Baird as finance director. The company added that non-executive director Giles Willits is stepping down from the board.

WSOP Disputants Settle Up -- The 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event champ, Jamie Gold, has agreed to settle a $6 million dispute with Los Angeles-based TV producer Bruce Crispin Leyser. In a joint, signed statement released to the AP on Tuesday, the two men, whose feud began last August, agreed the matter will be resolved "without litigation." "Jamie always intended on sharing his winnings with Crispin," the statement says. "Jamie and Crispin are happy to report they have fully settled this matter. They are pleased to be closing this chapter and look forward to continued success." The statement did not specify how much Leyser would receive.

Inked -- Sweden-based software provider Boss Media said it has been awarded a five-year contract by the World Lottery Organization in North America for an Internet gaming system, scheduled to be implemented during Q3 2007.
