Launched -- Kiwi Gaming on Wednesday launched new mahjong and baccarat games on its FastWin Casino and Kiwi Casino sites.

New Releases -- Online casino WildJack.com on Wednesday released five new blackjack games for its Multi-hand Gold Series line.

Turning Over a New Leaf -- Former "monday" lottery operator Chariot said its CEO and finance director, Matthew Waterman, and managing director, Philip Evans, have resigned effective today. The company reported first-half losses of £7.93 million ($15.5 million)--a 98 percent increase against last year's £955,000. The company offloaded its "monday" lottery operation last month to NetPlay TV for a £140,500 ($276,252) cash sum and is eyeing a possible move into the leisure sector.

Growth-Oriented -- Online operator Sportech says it expects year-end results for the period ending Jan. 5 to be in line with market expectations, with operating profit before interest, tax and exceptional items totaling an estimated £18.4 million ($36.2 million). The company also said its net debt has fallen 17 percent against last year's figure to roughly £90 million ($177 million). "[Sportech] is now a far more focused and cash generative business with its principal operations now profitable and growth oriented," it said in a trading update issued today.

Performing Well -- Online gambling group Betinternet reports that turnover for the six months to Nov. 26, 2006 increased 53 percent, supported by "particularly strong performance" in its European Wagering Services pari-mutuel operation and growing revenues from its sportsbook business. The company said earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose to £182,000 ($358,268) from a loss of £559,000 ($1.1 million) in 2005.
