RISKY BUSINESS? In the United Kingdom, 40 members of Parliament have signed a motion to strip Google Inc. of its online gambling advertisements, the Telegraph reports, citing that “the actions of Google risk normalizing gambling in society.”

According to the paper, the motion supported the Church of England’s stance and requested that Google reviewed its policies on corporate social responsibility.

LAUNCHING Hôme, a marketing group that has worked with Victor Chandler, Blue Square and William Hill, has launched Crestbay, a gift-lead C.R.M. (customer relationship management) and loyalty solution service.

Crestbay says it provides a range of services to the C.R.M. or V.I.P. manager, which includes Gifthub -- a bespoke white-label store that allows customers to redeem points for goods.

“Over the past 10 years, we have been developing C.R.M. campaigns and sourcing branded merchandise and prizes in the sector,” said Nick Jackson, director of Hôme, in a prepared statement. “So it made sense to put together a combined offering.”
