Ambiguous Departure -- Chinatechnews.com on Friday reported that PacificNet CFO Joseph Levinson "unexpectedly" left the company. News of Levinson's departure sent shares of the Asia-facing e-biz solutions provider tumbling nearly 10 percent, the news source said. In an effort to "pacify the markets," the company appointed Daniel Lui, a Hong Kong-born Canadian, to replace Levinson.

Playing It Safe -- Online casino group Jackpot Factory today announced that its VIP Lounge Casino had received accreditation and the "Play it Safe" seal from I-gaming industry watchdog eCOGRA.

Instant Credit -- I-gaming provider Quadcard Entertainment said it will allow players to apply for instant online credit lines of up to $5,000 on its ibingo.com site. Other Quadcard licensees will also offer the service.

Au Revoir, Tribeca -- Poker Host, formerly of the Tribeca network, last weekend said it will join the Microgaming network, which accepts U.S. players from 39 states. "We at Poker Host will still be accepting U.S. players and therefore we will move to a new network," said a spokesman for Poker Host.
