Held in Trust -- Payment processor Neteller is asking its U.S. customers to wait patiently while it determines how to move their money to the United States. The company, after an inundation of e-cash withdrawal inquiries, says on its phone-in help line that it "does not have an estimated time for resolution." Customers are being directed to an FAQ site for answers. Both the help line and the Web site assure customers that their money is "being held safely in trust," and will become available soon.

Mansion Closes US-facing Operation -- PokerPages.com reports that online operator Mansion "quietly closed its doors" to U.S.-based players as of Jan. 30. "We regret to advise that we are not accepting deposit or gaming and wagering transactions from Members in the United States," the company said on its Web site FAQ. "U.S. Members may continue to access their Mansion account for administrative purposes."

BoS in Trouble with UK Court -- Web portal The Online Wire (TOW) reports that a U.K. court this week has served BetonSports with its first "batch" of claims filed by former BoS customers. The Northampton County Court has given BoS 14 days to reply to 5 claims seeking an estimated $40,000 (in total), though the term may extend to 28 days should BoS file an acknowledgement of service. "I am representing these players here in the United Kingdom," TOW editor-in-chief Roberto Castiglioni told IGN. "Due to U.K. laws, claimants must have a British address and either be in the United Kingdom or have a U.K. resident as liaison." BoS has not been reached for comment.

Midwest Dreamin' -- Greece-based lotteries operator Intralot has expressed interest in bidding for Indiana's state lottery in the United States, reported Greek financial news source To Kerdos on Wednesday. "Unnamed sources" told To Kerdos that Intralot will bid for the lottery "in partnership with major world banks." The company was also interested in bidding for the Illinois state lottery, the paper said.

Launched -- Lottery solutions provider WagerPhone on Tuesday launched its lottery platform.
