A Helping Hand -- In an effort to promote the recruitment initiative of the Poker Players Alliance, Full Tilt Poker.com said it will offer its members up to $1,000 in bonuses should they choose to support the San Francisco-based grassroots organization.
Growing Fast -- Casino City Times reports that the Full Tilt Online Poker series (FTOPS) has grown 130 percent since its August 2006 inception, making the Series the second-largest reoccurring I-poker tournament series. Only PokerStars' World Championship of Online Poker is larger, the news source said. Full Tilt's most recent event, FTOPS III, boasted $4,407,600 in total prizes across 10 events, with the Main Event winner taking home $288,000.
Networking -- Poker network operator Digital Gaming Network (DGN) on Tuesday announced the addition of BetonUSA.com--formerly of the Microgaming network--to its list of licensees. DGN said it had recently signed "several established network partners" after its December 2006 acquisition of I-poker software provider Dobrosoft.
Crunch Time -- Onlinecasino.org said on Tuesday that I-gaming operator InterXGaming (IXG) is mulling over a decision to abandon the U.S. market. The company said in October that it planned to continue with its U.S.-facing operation, claiming that the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act did not specifically prohibit online gambling proper. As of today, IXG has made no official announcement regarding its U.S. interests.
