Orange Crush -- Lotteries operator Camelot has joined with U.K.-based mobile operator Orange to develop new lottery games for mobile users. If Camelot retains rights to the National Lottery, it will create lottery games--via the new deal--specifically designed for mobile phones, as well as a "lottery ticket shop" for broadband users, among other digital facilities.
888, Georgica Riled Up -- Online operator 888 on Friday announced a cooperative agreement with Georgica, which operates Rileys, a popular U.K.-based chain of snooker, pool and poker clubs, whereby 888 will operate and manage Rileys' online poker room, Rileyspoker.com. Rileys will promote the poker site in its clubs and hold both on- and offline tournaments, league tables and televised events.
Bill Hill Bingo? -- Numerous sources are reporting that U.K.-based operator William Hill is set to launch a bingo site, in conjunction with marketing agency Prego. The new site, Williamhillbingo.com, will feature online chat and a choice of ticket prices.
Appointed -- Online gaming group Gaming VC on Friday appointed Kenneth Alexander--formerly of Sportingbet--as the company's CEO, effective March 1, 2007.
New Net Payment Options Abound
- Full Tilt Poker on Sunday announced that it will offer U.S. poker players a new e-cash deposit/withdrawal option, MyWebATM (MWA). The new service allows users to link online poker accounts with personal bank accounts; and to withdraw funds, users are sent a MyWebATM card, which can be used at U.S. ATMs bearing a Cirrus logo.
Online poker operator Intertops has also announced a new payment option, interPAY (IP), a "prepaid solution" that can be used to fund online gambling accounts. Funds may be transferred from a credit card to the IP account, and from the IP account to an online gambling account, the IP Web site says.
