Renewed Agreements -- Net Entertainment has renewed its licensing agreements with Bet24 and Entraction for the provision of its CasinoModule platform. "I am very pleased to announced that two such renowned operators have decided to renew their agreements," said NetEnt Chief Executive Johan Öhman.

Incompatible -- Following the Jan. 1 enactment of the German Interstate Lotteries Treaty, the European Gaming and Betting Association has filed a complaint with the European Commission asserting that the treaty directly contravenes European law. "The German interstate treaty is incompatible with EU law, and its adoption has left us with no other choice but to make a formal complaint to the [commission]," EGBA Secretary General Sigrid Ligné said in a prepared statement. "We urge the commission now to fast-track our complaint and launch infringement proceedings against Germany."

Red Launches White -- Swedish sports betting exchange Redbet has launched its Scandinavia-facing Whitebet offering, which includes online casino, poker and sports betting products with software by Play'N Go (casino) and Ongame (poker). Whitebet will also target customers in Central and Eastern Europe, the group said.

New Stakes -- Asia-based investment group Guoco has taken a 3.17 percent stake in Rank, prompting another round of takeover speculation following last month's news linking Genting to a possible offer. Rank has also been linked with several high-profile suitors, including U.S. casino giant Harrah's, as well as Ladbrokes, William Hill and Aspers.

Stock Watch -- On the LSE, Playtech was down 15p to 345.00, Probability was up 4p to 55.50 and 888 was up 2.75p to 142.00.
