Sliding Down the Ranks -- Several industry media sources have picked up on PokerSiteScout.com's latest rankings, which show PartyPoker down two notches from its number-two ranking, trailing FullTiltPoker.com and iPokerNetwork for the first time ever. This morning, Full Tilt, which now holds the second-place ranking, had a seven-day average of 6,900 players per day, while iPoker was a distant third with a seven-day average of 5,300. PartyPoker, currently in fourth place, also had a seven-day average of 5,300. As expected, PokerStars still holds the top spot, with a seven-day average of 14,200. Both PokerStars and FullTilt still accept real-money U.S. players. When Party released its third-quarter trading update in late October, it said poker revenue had dropped 3 percent to $74.8 million against figures from Q2 2006.
A Sweet Little Heartbreaker -- Mobile gaming group Cometa Wireless has agreed to provide Cashcade with its Arcadia mobile gaming platform. The first title to hit the market will be a mobile version pf Cashcade's Foxy Bingo brand, scheduled to be released later this month. "With consumers working longer hours and commuting long distances, the attraction of having their favorite online services at their fingertips is hard to beat," said Cashcade Chief Executive Simon Collins.
Upbeat Q3 KPIs from Probability -- In financial news, mobile specialist Probability revealed a third-quarter profit, with net gaming revenue up 38 percent to £930,198 compared to figures from the second quarter. "With our strong network operator relationships and our tie-ups to blue chip companies such as Rank Group, I can only see this continuing," said Probability Chief Executive Charles Cohen in the group's third-quarter trading update.
Double Threat -- WagerWorks has agreed to supply its RGS system to Two Way Gaming. The RGS platform features branded titles like Monopoly, Wheel of Fortune and the Price is Right, as well as WagerWorks' full casino suite. "Combined with our gaming TV shows, we have got an innovate cross-platform offering audiences will love," said Two Way Managing Director Guy Templer.
BannerBrain -- Odds comparison group Betbrain has launched its AdFactory88 ad server system, which allows bookmakers to create odds banners with fewer resources. Betbrain has also agreed to supply Aussie Centrebet with the AdFactory system. "We are very excited about the opportunity we have with AdFactory, and are delighted to be first to market with this excellent new product," said Centrebet Marketing Director Luke Brill.
Stock Watch -- One the LSE, Probability's shares were buoyed by its positive trading update, and were up 5.50p, or 9.24 percent, to 65.00. PartyGaming remained even at 25p, 888 was up 1p to 135.75 and Rank was up 1.50p to 88.50.
