Tough Year for Boss -- Boss Media has released figures for the full year, revealing a 23 percent loss in operating profit and a 33 percent loss in net profit. Royalty revenues were also down 5 percent to SEK 239 million (25.1 million euros) from SEK 244.9 million in 2006. The Stockholm-listed company said that the majority of these losses were due to renegotiations of licensing agreements and legal changes in the early part of the year. It added that it would issue a dividend of SEK 0.50 per share, and said of its objectives for 2008: "It is estimated that the growth in the Internet gaming market will amount to 15 to 20 percent. [Our] objective is to achieve a growth rate that slightly exceeds market growth."

Big Box Gets I-Bingo -- Parlay Entertainment has agreed to develop a bingo solution for NetPlay TV subsidiary Big Box Bingo, which will allow fans of Big Box's televised programs to play additional bingo and slot games online. The project, which will span "the coming months," also sees Parlay develop mobile and televised streaming solutions for Big Box. "We're pleased that NetPlay TV has chosen us to help them further develop the interactive features of the show, including mobile phone and further Web integration," said Parlay European Managing Director Steve Cook.

Winning Acquisition -- In a note to the London Stock Exchange Monday, Betbrokers said its acquisition of Las Vegas-based sports and information tipping service Winning Edge added $2.3 million in full-year revenue. Betbrokers Chief Executive Wayne Lochner called the Winning Edge acquisition "an important addition" to the group's offering, "as seen by the record turnover since the acquisition." Shares in Betbrokers remained even today at 2.25p.

Fruity Market -- Mobile gaming developer Spin3 has released its first slots title, Pub Fruity, a three-reel, single-payline game based on the popular British fruit machine. Pub Fruity, the developer's twelfth game, is designed to appeal to British players, said Spin3 Chief Executive Matti Zinder.

Radio Poker -- Harrah's has launched its World Series of Poker Radio service, a weekly radio show for WSOP fans and players. The show, which will air on Monday nights from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (EST), will be hosted by Nick Geber, a commentator on World Series of Poker Live. Bluff Media has agreed to produce the show, which will be available to more than 200 stations of the Sports Byline Radio Network.

Stock Watch -- After the FTSE 100 dropped 5.5 percent Monday, London's top share index rebounded 2.9 percent today after the U.S. Federal Reserve cut interest rates three-quarters of a percentage point -- the biggest cut in 23 years, according to Reuters. After losing 8.50p Monday, 888 was down 0.50p to 125.50; after losing 11p, Ladbrokes was up 3.25p to 269.25; after losing 13.50p, Playtech was down 1.50p to 325.00; and after losing 5p, Sportech was down 1p to 85.00.
