APPROVED The Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority has approved a remote gaming license for Bingo.com Operations Ltd., a subsidiary of Bingo.com Ltd., the company announced Thursday.

Under the license terms, Bingo.com said it is free to launch and operate its gaming Web site from a hosting facility in Malta and will then be operating from a tier-one licensing jurisdiction, which will allow the company market its Web site and services within the United Kingdom.

The company said it has completed the majority of the conditions and anticipates it will complete the remainder over the next few weeks.

SUITE OF SEVEN CTXM, the Latvia-based games developer, has completed a suite of seven casino mini games.

The suite of games, which includes bingo, blackjack, deuces wild, jacks or better and slot games, allows players to switch between games, the company said. The suite supports rebranding of logos and appearance as well as play-for-cash and play-for-fun modes

“After installing Mini Games to their services, our clients said that they generated 30 to 50 percent more profit,” said Maxim Terehovich, vice president of business development at CTXM, in a prepared statement. “Mini games support linking to full game versions, thus they can act as affiliate program for content providers.”

MARKETING SPACE SomethingGaming Partners L.L.C. has entered into an exclusive agreement with MySpace, the ubiquitous social networking site, the Vegas-based company has announced.

According to the company, which specializes in creating marketing partnerships in the casino gaming, state lottery, and hospitality and travel industries, it intends to create marketing promotions designed to increase the customer databases and house revenues of its United States gaming-resort clients.

The company said it will be able to create promotions that pinpoint exact segments of the casino gaming market using MySpace’s detailed member profile structure.

“Database marketing is paramount for the casino industry, especially in this down economy,” said Jake Kahle, a principal with SomethingGaming Partners, in a prepared statement. “For us to literally be able to drive hundreds of thousands of like-minded gamers to our US casino clients, based on their MySpace preferences, will be an unrivaled ‘across-the-reels’ win.”

SPONSORING? According to the Australian Associated Press, Tabcorp’s Luxbet.com is zeroing in on a deal with the Richmond Tigers, which is subject to approval by the Australian Football League.

The news agency said that if the deal is sealed, Luxbet’s logo will find itself on the back of all Richmond jerseys and would join an electronics firm as the team’s two main sponsors.

According to the Australian Football League, who recently changed its guidelines regarding betting agency sponsorships, it currently has agreements with Tabcorp (TAB Sportsbet, Luxbet), Betfair, Betezy, Sports Acumen, IAS Bet, Sportingbet and Racing Odds that cover signage, ticketing and hospitality.

UPDATE Chartwell Technology Inc. has released its “Version 7.0” gaming software, the company announced on Thursday.

The software supplier said the new game suite delivers enhanced game performance and expanded system management functionality. It includes “Kat Lee: Bounty Hunter,” one of three new 30-line, five-reel slots, and “Surf's Up,” one of two 15-line, five-reel slots.

“This is a major release for us, which has been almost a year in the making,” said Darold H. Parken, president and chief executive of Chartwell, in a prepared statement.

EXPANDING Greentube A.G. has announced it is now exploring the field of online casino games with poker, bingo and slot machines.

Greentube said it now offers a casino game as well as several variants of poker and bingo. The casino has full-screen modes, autoplay features, multiple game lobby slots, multi-currency and multi-language options as well as turnkey solutions and simple integration.
