EXTENDING
Global Interactive Gaming Ltd. has extended its agreement with
Sportingbet, the online sports betting and gaming group, until the end of 2011,
Interactive Systems Worldwide, Inc. , the parent company of Global Interactive Gaming, announced on Friday.
According to the New Jersey-based wagering systems provider, the financial terms of the previous agreement regarding Global Interactive Gaming’s fees are unchanged.
In addition, the company said Sportingbet has agreed to provide Global Interactive Gaming, in a series of four quarterly payments, an advance payment of a portion of the next three years' monthly minimums.
“We are extremely pleased with Sportingbet's decision to extend the agreement for another three years,” said Bernard Albanese, the company's chief executive, in a prepared statement. “It validates the uniqueness of our offering and attests to their satisfaction with our services.”

Interwetten, an Austrian bookmaker, has gone live with casino software provided by Microgaming Software Systems Ltd. , the companies announced on Friday.
Interwetten said it is now live with Microgaming’s more than 400 multilingual casino games including the new multiplayer blackjack tournaments.

Scott Gunn has been promoted to senior vice president of global government relations and United States business development, Gtech Corporation announced on Friday.
According to the lottery operator, Mr. Gunn has worked for Gtech since 1994 in various positions in sales, business development, public affairs and global operations. Most recently, he spent two years as the vice president of Western region operations, in which he oversaw the activities of eight Western region sites.
“Scott is a seasoned strategist who understands the intricacies within governments, has a vast knowledge of Gtech operations and knows how to effectively bring these two disciplines together for both our customers and the company," said Jaymin B. Patel, the company’s chief executive, in a prepared statement. "As a result, his work on behalf of our customers has required substantial interaction with government, political, media, and community representatives.
In his new position, Mr. Gunn will be responsible for worldwide government relations and strategy.
