Las Vegas from PRC -- Las Vegas From Home said it has agreed to supply its software gaming platform to CY Foundation Group Ltd. (CYF) in the People's Republic of China. CYF, through a controlled entity in the PRC, is licensed by the country's culture ministry to operate online games and tournaments across China. Look to the Top Stories section of IGN for more on this later today.

Choice Acquisition -- Futures broker MF Global Ltd. has acquired ChoiceOdds, an independent, U.K.-based financial binary trading firm that also offers a selection of fixed odds, floating odds and binary trades. "This acquisition will play an important role in our European and Asian retail strategy, as we create single platforms to enable private clients to trade a range of OTC products that replicated listed equivalents such as exchange traded figures and foreign exchanges," said MF Chief Executive Kevin Davis. MF said the transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, would be neutral to earnings over the next 12 months.

Launched -- Microgaming has launched a raft of games for January, including European High Streak Blackjack; Little Chief Big Cash, a five-reel, 25 pay-line video slot; Treasure Island, a three-reel, one pay-line platform; Mark of Medusa, a video slot; and Polar Bash, a five-reel, 20 pay-line slot.

Lucrative Extension -- Italy's Lottomatica has signed a four-year software contract extension with Veikkaus Oy, operator of Finland's national lottery, worth roughly $39 million in revenue. Lottomatica subsidiary GTech Global Services signed the deal, Lottomatica said Monday. GTech will provide software licensing, products and services to Veikkaus during the extension period from December 2009 to November 2013.

Checking In on Absolute -- Gambling Compliance reports the Kahnawake Gaming Commission has received a report from auditors investigating the Absolute Poker scandal, but the KGC has yet to issue its decision on the matter. The last communiqué from the KGC was issued on Nov. 22, which said that the investigation was "active and on-going," and that it expected the report to be submitted by Dec. 7, 2007. At the time Nambling Notes was published, the KGC had not responded to IGN for comment. More on this to come.

Playtech Rumors -- eGaming Review has reported Playtech is thought to be working on a deal to acquire bingo software provider Virtue Fusion. Both Playtech and Virtue Fusion have refused to comment on the rumor.

Stock Watch -- On the LSE, Ladbrokes was down 20p to 276.50, London Capital Group was down 29p to 381.00 and William Hill was down 13p to 433.25.
