IN HOUSE Virgin Games announced Tuesday that it has taken in-house the management of its online gaming operations.
Operation of the company's online casino previously outsourced to WagerWorks; its poker room to Boss Media; and its bingo offering to St. Minver.
Virgin said the transition -- 18 months in the making -- was undertaken to provide customers with central-sign-on and single-wallet solutions.
The company said the operations will managed centrally from its headquarters in Guernsey.
REPORTING Betbull Holding S.E. said first-quarter net gaming revenue fell 20 percent to 21.1 million euros over the previous quarter.
Year over year, quarterly revenue was up 5 percent but Ebitda fell 67 percent to 100,000 euros. Losses after tax were 448,450 euros, compared to a post-tax loss 234,419 euros last year.
The company has invested heavily in building out its Spanish retail presence. In October, it secured licensure in the autonomous community of Madrid and has opened one shop there under its w1nners joint venture with Bwin.
Betbull said it remains confident about its Spanish business concept, but IGamingNews reported Tuesday that growth in Spain is showing signs of slowing.
