Inked -- Harrah's has signed a non-binding letter of intent to form a digital publishing alliance with Bluff Media for online and radio coverage of all World Series of Poker-branded events on a global basis. Under the terms of the agreement, Bluff will operate WSOP's Web site and provide broadband, streaming and real-time content, including chip counts, live event updates and audio-visual news programs and features.

Reporting -- Chartwell Technology this morning released its first quarter results, which show a 24 percent increase in revenue to $5.5 million against Q1 2006. License fee revenue also grew 24 percent, totaling $5.3 million on the quarter. The company said it continued to maintain a strong balance sheet with $14.6 million in cash and short-term investments compared to $12.7 million at Oct. 31, 2006.

Endorsed -- Various news sources have reported that leading Las Vegas-based gaming law authority Anthony Cabot has given his endorsement to the Poker Players Alliance (PPA). Cabot posted a memo in the 2+2 Forums, wherein he noted, among other observations, "I know of no other organization than the PPA that has the capability of uniting the poker world in this cause."

Launched -- Gaming Intelligence Group reports that 24hPoker has launched its common e-wallet, Cardroom2, a dual-network solution that allows players to choose which poker network they want to play on.

Going Multi-Lingual -- Casino Classic has launched German-, French-, Italian- and Japanese-language versions of its casino site.

Setting the Bar -- bwin co-CEO Norbert Teufelberger reportedly told the German business magazine Focus Money that the company's acquisition of Sportingbet would help the company overtake PartyGaming as the U.K. market leader in I-gaming.

New Chairman? -- Bloomberg quotes a speculative report from the Australian Financial Review, which suggests Ziggy Sitkowski, former CEO of Telstra Corp., may become the next chairman of Australia-based Tabcorp.

Stock Watch -- On the LSE, Sportingbet is up 3.25p to 63, Party is up 1.75p to 42.75 and William Hill is up 5.00p to 622.
