Dealing -- BAW International, the online gaming company based in Gibraltar that operates www.betandwin.com, has commissioned Boss Media to supply it with a new casino and a poker client. The casino will be available in English and German in both downloadable and an instant-play version. Boss Media says that the poker client is a key element in the building of the "Boss Poker Network."
Tumbling Dice -- The California Nations Indian Gaming Association and the California Council on Problem Gambling will sponsor the first annual Responsible Gambling Awareness Week, which they are calling "Tumbling Dice," Oct. 13-17. The organizations are encouraging tribal leaders, health care professionals, gambling industry executives, elected officials, and members of the press to attend their free weeklong series of symposiums, panel discussions, and workshops that will feature U.S. experts on gambling addiction.
Launch -- Antigua-based BetWWTS.com has released WagerOnSports.com, its newest Web site, offering betting options on all major international sporting events through telephone wagering or the Internet. WagerOnSports.com, which was soft launched at the beginning of the American football season, is different from the BetWWTS.com site in that it offers lower betting limits, more betting propositions, exclusive promotions and improved parlay and teaser odds. The minimum stake amount at WageronSports.com is $50 by phone and $1 by Internet.
