Poker in Sweden -- Gaming Software provider Boss Media and Swedish operator Svenska Spel are hoping to expand their partnership with the integration of Boss Media's poker software at SwenskaSpel.se. Svenska Spel has applied in Sweden for a poker license, and Boss Media, which already supplies an instant-play gaming platform to Svenkska Spel, is preparing for a quick transformation of the Web site to include the poker room.

Crossover -- Skill games provider GameAccount signed a deal this week with European online sports betting operator Gamebookers to deliver skill games to the German and French markets. Gamebookers now supports three languages--English, French and German--and four currencies--British pounds, U.S. dollars, euros and Turkish lira. "This gives us a substantial competitive advantage, and will help Gamebookers grow substantially across Europe ahead of the World Cup in 2006," said John O'Malia, CEO of Trident Gaming PLC, the parent company of Gamebookers.

Cheap Property -- Betfair announced a partnership with the property listings Web site Landlord Trader to offer punters a low-risk way to bet on the housing market. Landlord Trader's Dan Haysom said that it was a natural progression for Betfair to offer clients an opportunity to bet on what has traditionally been a high-stakes market. Punters can bet on the rise and fall of property values for as little as £2.

New Games -- Online casino group the Jackpot Factory announced today the release of four new games by software provider Microgaming, including two slots games, a roulette game and a poker game. Jackpot factory is giving away $40,000 in cash prizes as an incentive to play the new games, but only to the end of the month.

Bowling for Canadian Dollars -- Slotland.com is providing $4,000 in cash prizes and promotional assistance in bowling tournaments for the elderly in Vancouver and Winnipeg. Winners of four preliminary matches will advance to the championship in their cities, where Slotland.com will provide grand prizes. "People play at Slotland.com because we make it fun," Slotland's Hannah Morante said. "The chance to win real money adds to the excitement. Sponsoring events like the Slotland.com Super Bowl is just another way put smiles on faces all around the world."
