New Stuff -- Rimpac Resources Ltd. today launched a promotional Web site in Vietnamese for Internet lotteries. Rimpac's promotional portal is now available in English, Spanish and Vietnamese and offers information on the upcoming launch of Rimpac's online lottery.

Scandanavian Tidbit -- Representatives from the Nordic countries of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development are expected to meet in coming weeks to discuss their collective position on the taxation of Internet gambling. The OECD began devoting time to the topic in April upon the Danish delegation's presentation of a paper that sharply criticized England's approach toward taxation as it relates to cross-border gambling. The common Nordic position on I-gaming tax is still being negotiated. Reps from Scandinavian countries discussed the matter again June 25 at a meeting in Stockholm, however, the details of those discussions are under wraps.

Makin' Deals -- BingoWorkz Ltd. is merging with GameWave Solutions Inc. to create a new company that will offer online bingo software, technology and services. The company, GameWorkz, will be headquartered in San Jose, Costa Rica. Its research and development team will be in Toronto and its sales staff will be in London.

Names and Faces -- CYOP Systems International Inc. is naming Norman MacKinnon, Gordon Samson and Patrick Symth to its board of directors. The company provides technology for the online gaming and entertainment industries.
