WMS Industries Inc., the global game machine manufacturer, announced that the Nevada Gaming Commission granted its networked gaming system, Wage-net, approval after a field trial at the Bellagio Las Vegas.
In a statement released on Thursday, the company said it was the first to receive approval from the commission for a networked gaming system. Additionally, the Illinois company said it's planning more field trials for the system that will focus on personalizing players’ gaming experiences.
“WMS's Wage-net system was intuitively easy to install and performed all the capabilities that were expected,” said Justin Beltram, vice president of slot operations at the Bellagio, in a prepared statement.
