New tabled legislation could bring video lottery terminals to Kentucky racetracks, reported ABC News 25.
Some estimate House Bill 158, which could be up for a vote in mid-February, could bring an extra $700 million into the state, according to the Indiana news station.
One track owner told ABC News that he has seen horsemen avoiding racing venues in Kentucky because other states such as Indiana offer more gambling alternatives at the track, and in turn, attract more open wallets.
